The ivf-hub is dedicated to the promotion of the practice and related academic activities and research efforts in the areas of laboratory in vitro fertilization (IVF) or assisted reproduction technology (ART), reproductive biology and medicine, and stem cell technology.

Recognising the supportive role of businesses to the practice of assisted reproduction technology and related endeavors this web site was created, in part, to lift restriction normally imposed on the participation of business entities in professional web sites.

The ivf-hub also aims to complement and assist in the activities of national and international government organizations, NGOs, private non-profit institutions, philanthropic organizations and charities that are involved in human and family development, education, funding and research activities in infertility and human reproduction, especially assisted reproduction, and in regeneration medicine related to the therapeutic use of stem and somatic cells.

The www.ivf-hub.net is subdivided into three main sections, namely the IVF Practitioners’ Portal, IVF Business Portal and IVF Community Portal. The ivf-hub strives to serve everyone involved in the area of IVF and related activities. Some of these services include:

  • Provide an avenue for the promotion and development of IVF and stem cell technologies.
  • Provide the scientific community with an Annual Review on various topics of practical importance to the Laboratory IVF Practitioner; to be called “IVF Reviews”.
  • Foster Research Collaboration worldwide by introducing research workers to each other online especially between research workers from underdeveloped nations with that of developed nations.
  • Raise funds to support IVF workers from less affluent nations and needy students with Travel Grants to enable them present their research findings at national and international scientific meetings.
  • Provide a Forum for the exchange and cross-fertilization of ideas, and discussion of issues affecting IVF practice.
  • Raise funds to assist IVF workers, especially those that have no access to Research Grants or funds, to finance their research activities.
  • Raise funds to provide Financial Aid to needy patients undergo IVF treatment.
  • Provide relevant Information about IVF to patients and others that wishes to know about IVF
  • Assist those not proficient in the English language prepare research manuscripts and Scientific Papers for publication in peer-reviewed international journals.
  • The ivf-hub intends to publish, in due course, an online journal for reports on IVF or assisted reproduction technology, reproductive biology and stem cell technology in its online journal, the “Journal of Reproductive and Stem Cell Biotechnology”.
  • Provide an avenue for Announcements pertaining to IVF courses, scientific meetings, etc.
  • Serve as a source of information for those that need or have undergone IVF treatment
  • Assist inventors and innovators commercialize their Inventions, Innovations and Discoveries.
  • Assist IVF Practitioners seek job placements. IVF Jobs can be advertised free of cost at the present moment on the ivf-hub.
  • Assist employers fill temporary IVF positions.
  • Introduce investors to scientists that have novel intellectual properties of commercial potential.
  • Assist freelance workers such as Scientific Writers, Biostatisticians, IVF Embryologists, IVF Technologists, IVF Gynaecologists and IVF Nursing personnel secure locum, freelance, casual or temporary job opportunities/placements.
  • Provide business entities servicing IVF Practitioners freedom to utilize the ivf-hub web site to promote and publicize their products and to further their commercial interests and activities.
  • Assist IVF Practitioners dispose, acquire, swap or even give away unwanted or used equipment that is in working condition.
  • Bring together individuals and IVF business concerns that wishes to buy, sell, franchise, invest, etc., in IVF Practices.
  • Maintain a country-wise list of IVF Consultancies that assist IVF Clinics.
  • Maintain a worldwide list of IVF Clinics, especially those that wishes to engage in health tourism.
