The Journal of Reproductive Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences (JRBBS) has instituted four (n=4) awards in its effort to promote research in all areas in  the field of BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES and HUMAN REPRODUCTION, including regulatory, demographic, nursing, social, and legal aspects. The awards are open to authors of all nations irrespective of their background.

The Editorial Board, based on the recommendations of a panel of 3 referees, will select four outstanding papers one per prize in the relevant areas of assisted reproduction technology (ART) published in the Journal of Reproductive Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences for the award of the following prizes:

Johara Beevi Kader Pasha Award for Best Paper in Reproductive Sciences and Developmental Biology

Abdullah M. Yusoff Rowther Award for the Best Paper in “Therapeutic Assisted Reproduction Biotechnologies (both clinical and scientific papers) and Embryonic Stem Cell Technology

Abdulwahab Kader Pasha Award for the Best Article in “Any Aspect of Biomedical Sciences”

Mohamed Alitheen Rowther Award for the Best Paper in any aspect of “Nursing, Legal, Ethical, Social, Demographic, Population Dynamics, Health Service Management, Healthcare Service Delivery, relevant to General Healthcare, Fertility, Reproduction and ART.

These four (n=4) awards are worth US$1000 each. All papers published in the Journal of Reproductive Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences in the year 2024 onwards on a biyearly basis will be considered for the awards.

To qualify for awards above, the published works must meet specific criteria such as: (i) contribution to advancement of knowledge, and/or (ii) must be useful to humankind, and/or must be original and/or (iv) new finding(s) of practical import, and/or must be outstanding innovations or findings. The manuscripts must be well written with clarity in its presentation and of highest integrity. The experimental design and research methodology must be well thought of and flawless, and must meet ethical norms and guidelines. In general, the selected published works must exude professionalism, a flair for systematic scientific inquiry and organization.

Contributions not deserving of award shall not be considered for the prize, meaning that, the prizes may not be awarded if they do not meet the standards anticipated.

Winners will be announced on the website of the JRBBS and also notified by email or telephone. The winners shall receive the prize money paid into their designated bank account anywhere in the world provided there are no restrictions for the transfer of the funds. Alternatively, the prize funds may be couriered to the winner(s) by approved currency transfer mechanisms. The winners may also receive a certificate of the award and possibly a souvenir or metal plaque to commemorate the event.

All are welcome to compete for these awards. Lack of funds should not prevent scientists/authors from publishing their work. The journal offers FREE publishing service.
