Code of Conduct

The Journal of Reproductive Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences (JRBBS) as far as possible and, within its ability and capability will adhere to and comply with the codes of conduct and international standards of the Committee on Publication ethics (COPE) published online on the website: http://publicationethics.org/ .

Honesty and Transparency of Editorial Board

The members of the Editorial Board and Editors of the JRBBS will perform their duties in a fair, honest and unbiased manner without compromising confidentiality and objectivity independent of commercial interests.

Authors’ Responsibility for Compliance with Ethical Practices /Directives /Guidelines

Ethics Compliance

Authors should be aware the JRBBS will only publish work that was conducted in an ethical manner performed in compliance to legislation and the high standards of ethics (that meet the Guidelines of the World Medical Association https://www.wma.net/what-we-do/medical-ethics/) in particular research involving animals and human subjects. Authors must present their work in a honest, clear, unambiguous, precise manner without resorting to fabrication, falsification or dishonest data manipulation.

Refusal to Publish / Amendment or Retraction

The JRBBS reserves the right to refuse publication, will not publish, or retract any work that has not been approved by the authors’ respective  Institutional Review Board or was found to have deficiencies with regard to compliance with ethical norms and standards of practice or if their work were subsequently proven to have been products of misconduct, malpractice or fraud.

Retraction After Publication

The JRBBS reserves the right to retract or require authors amend or retract their published manuscript if their work were later found deficient in or non-compliant with ethical norms and standards of practice.

Compliance with Publication and Copyright Norms

Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)

All articles published in the JRBBS are open access which are disseminated and freely accessible as per the regulations of the Creative Commons Attribution pertaining to the (CC BY) license (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

The authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions but must conform to the provisions of the of the Creative Commons Attribution pertaining to the (CC BY 4.0) license code of conduct (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ ).

Repository

Electronic copies of the manuscripts will be deposited in an online library (libraries) of any/or two organization(s) in Malaysia that is willing to hold the same and will allow access to the same to all parties if the JRBBS ceases operation. In addition, the JRBBS will endeavour to continue maintaining its website as long as possible so that the electronic manuscripts will remain accessible. Alternatively the JRBBS may contract a repository for its manuscripts.
